Kedarnath pilgrimage crosses 5 lakh mark, health department issues alert

The Health Department remains on high alert due to the rising number of pilgrims visiting Kedarnath, which has crossed five lakh. Medical services are being continuously provided to the pilgrims, with over 52,000 undergoing health screening and more than 62,000 receiving examination and treatment through OPD services. Medical teams are deployed along the yatra route and in the shrine area, providing immediate treatment to sick and injured devotees.
