Kidwai’s doorstep palliative care sees steady uptake; no-cost services reach 112 patients

Home-based palliative care services introduced by the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology have received a positive response. These services support terminally ill cancer patients unable to travel for follow-up care. The initiative combines home visits with telemedicine support, providing patients with necessary care and support in the comfort of their own homes. Since its launch, 112 patients have availed this facility.
