Ladakh living land of dharma: Amit Shah on Buddha relics return to UT after 75 years

Union Home Minister Amit Shah described the return of sacred relics of Gautama Buddha to Ladakh as a historic reunion coinciding with Buddha Purnima. He said Ladakh has been a "living land of dharma" that preserved and nurtured Buddhist knowledge for centuries. The relics were brought to Leh in 1950 for an exhibition and have now returned after over 75 years, allowing people from Ladakh, Kargil, and other religions to draw spiritual inspiration from them.
