Lens of Passion: Janakiraman Yuvaraj’s Journey From Stills To Cinema

Janakiraman Yuvaraj was born and raised in Chennai, where he completed his education in B.Sc. Mathematics. However, his passion for cinematography began during college days, capturing candid moments with a Kodak film camera. He later joined as an assistant to legendary cinematographer Ratnavelu sir, contributing to landmark Indian cinema projects. Yuvaraj believes a cinematographer's job begins where the script ends, translating silence into a visual language through the 'texture of light'.
