Libya’s Zawiya refinery resumes full operations

Libya's largest functioning oil refinery has resumed full operations after a shutdown due to fighting near the facility in Zawiya. The refinery, located 40km west of Tripoli, was forced to shut down and evacuate tankers when heavy shelling struck multiple locations inside the facility. Despite several high-calibre projectiles landing in the oil complex, there was no significant damage reported. Fuel supplies to Tripoli and surrounding areas remained unaffected.
