A major fire broke out at the Yadadri Ultra Mega Thermal Power Station, damaging key components near the Unit 3 boiler feed pump. No casualties were reported, and preliminary investigations suggest a lubrication oil leak triggered the incident. The fire erupted near the turbine-driven boiler feed pump, causing thick smoke to envelop the plant area and damaging control cables and valves. Plant staff responded immediately and extinguished the fire, with main equipment such as turbines and boilers not affected.
