Mali’s Tuareg rebels say Russian fighters must withdraw from country

Mali's Tuareg rebels, involved in a conflict, want Russia's Africa Corps to withdraw permanently from the country. The rebels view Russia's intervention negatively as they supported the military government, which they claim committed serious crimes and massacres. The rebels have no problem with Russia itself, but with the regime governing Bamako. Russian fighters were seen leaving the northern town of Kidal after negotiating their exit through Algeria's mediation.
