Man from Kasaragod among 18 freed from alleged bonded labour in Karnataka

Labourers rescued from alleged bonded labour at a farm in Karnataka's Hassan district were handed over to the Kasaragod district administration. The workers, including two from Kerala, were freed during a joint raid by the Karnataka police and the Revenue department in Chatnahalli village near Halebeedu. They had been confined and forced to work without wages.
