Man United beat Liverpool 3-2 to secure Champions League qualification

Manchester United secured Champions League football next season with a 3-2 victory over Liverpool. United were 2-0 up inside 15 minutes through Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko, but Liverpool levelled with goals from Dominik Szoboszlai and Cody Gakpo before Kobbie Mainoo secured the win. United's victory further strengthens Michael Carrick's case to continue as boss next season, opening up a six-point lead over Liverpool in the process.
