Meta’s loss is Thinking Machines gain

Weiyao Wang, a former Meta employee, has joined Thinking Machines Lab after spending eight years at the company. Wang's move comes as Thinking Machines Lab expands, having recently signed a multibillion-dollar cloud deal with Google and gaining access to Nvidia's latest hardware. The lab is also hiring researchers from Meta, including Soumith Chintala, its CTO, and Piotr Dollár, a research director, who both previously spent 11 years at Meta.
