‘Miami Vice’ Reboot With Michael B. Jordan, Austin Butler Gets Official Title: ‘Miami Vice ’85’

Michael B. Jordan and Austin Butler are starring in the "Miami Vice" reboot, titled "Miami Vice '85." The Universal film, directed by Joseph Kosinski, will be filmed for Imax and is scheduled for release. Jordan will play Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs and Butler will play James "Sonny" Crockett. Production will start later this year, with the film exploring the glamour and corruption of mid-80's Miami, inspired by the original TV series.
