Mira Nair unveils first look of Amri: Priyanka Chopra, Jaideep Ahlawat and Jim Sarbh join project, deets inside!

Mira Nair's next feature film is inspired by the life and art of Amrita Sher-Gil, a pioneering woman of modern art in India. The film is set across Hungary, France, and India in the early twentieth century and explores Sher-Gil's coming of age as an artist and woman. The ensemble cast features Anjali Sivaraman as Amrita Sher-Gil, with Emily Watson, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Priyanka Chopra-Jonas also starring. The film is currently being produced in India and Hungary.
