NCW calls for setting up a national registry for tracking acid attack cases

The National Commission for Women has submitted recommendations to the government for a "survivor-centric framework" to address acid attack survivors' needs. The framework includes a national acid attack case tracking registry, integration of online FIR systems, and automatic relief and compensation triggers. It also recommends a "Golden Hour Protocol" for immediate medical intervention and fast-tracking investigation and trial mechanisms for acid attack cases.
