Netflix Among Suitors Interested in Buying Radford Lot

Netflix is among the potential buyers of the Radford Studios lot in Studio City, which went into foreclosure earlier this year. The lot, a 55-acre site built in 1928, is overdue for renovation. Hackman Capital Partners bought the facility in 2021 for $1.85 billion but occupancy has fallen dramatically since then. Netflix has committed to build a studio at Fort Monmouth in New Jersey, eligible for a 40% state subsidy for productions filmed there.
