Odisha govt issues SOP for safety, security of census functionaries

The Odisha government has issued a Standard Operating Procedure for the safety and security of census functionaries engaged in the census work. The SOP aims to ensure the safety of Enumerators and Supervisors, particularly during peak heat hours, by advising them to wear official ID cards, carry appointment letters, and work in teams. Precautions against heat-related illnesses and hostility are also outlined in the SOP.
