Over 1,700 cases booked in Malkajgiri traffic crackdown on wrong-side driving

Malkajgiri Traffic police booked cases for wrong-side driving and misuse of unauthorised sirens during a special enforcement drive. Fines amounting to ₹22,01,800 were imposed as part of the crackdown on dangerous driving, illegal manoeuvres and misuse of sirens at key junctions and accident-prone stretches. A total of 1,790 cases were booked for wrong-side driving and four cases for misuse of sirens.
