Paddy drying crisis in Narayanpet forces farmers to use crematorium in Kosgi

Farmers in Narayanpet district are facing a paddy drying crisis due to lack of drying platforms. As a result, some farmers are drying their paddy stocks in a crematorium in Kosgi, which is part of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's Kodangal constituency. The crematorium, constructed in 2021, has been used by farmers since Sunday, highlighting the ground-level distress in the area. Procurement operations have resumed, but farmers had to wait for their turn.
