Palestinian football body appeals FIFA ruling on Israel at top sports court

The Palestinian Football Association has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport against FIFA's decision not to sanction Israel over clubs based in occupied West Bank settlements. The association has long argued that these clubs should not compete in leagues run by the Israel Football Association, citing the illegal status of the settlements under international law. Visa issues have also affected several PFA delegations ahead of the FIFA Congress.
