Pawan Khera must approach Assam court: Supreme Court refuses anticipatory bail extension

The Supreme Court has refused to extend transit anticipatory bail granted to a Congress leader by the Telangana High Court. The leader had sought relief to approach a competent court in Assam in a case accusing him of making false allegations against the wife of Assam Chief Minister's wife. The Supreme Court clarified its earlier order, stating that its stay should not influence the Assam court hearing the leader's anticipatory bail plea.
