Petrol and diesel prices hiked by Rs 3 per litre amid Iran–Israel conflict crisis

Petrol and diesel prices have been increased by oil companies by around Rs 3 per litre, citing disruptions linked to the Iran-Israel conflict and Strait of Hormuz crisis. The price hike is necessitated due to the crisis emerging from the US-Iran-Israel conflict leading to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. As a result, petrol in Delhi now costs Rs 97.77 a litre, while diesel is priced at Rs 99.67 a litre.
