Petrol, diesel retail prices hiked by ₹3 per litre as US-Iran war bites

Petrol and diesel retail prices have been increased by ₹3 per litre each across the country. State-run oil companies have raised pump prices of petrol and diesel, while Indraprastha Gas Ltd has increased compressed natural gas rates by 2 per kg in and around Delhi. The new prices are ₹97.77 per litre for petrol and ₹90.67 per litre for diesel. Oil marketing companies will still incur losses on petrol and diesel due to elevated international crude prices.
