Plane Carrying 288 People Catches Fire While Landing

A Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul caught fire while landing at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport. The aircraft was evacuated after smoke was seen from the landing gear, and the airport was closed for one hour as the fire in the plane's rear tire was extinguished. Passengers were evacuated successfully and no injuries were reported. An additional flight has been planned for the return, and technical inspections of the aircraft have been initiated. The incident caused the airport's runway to be closed for almost two hours before reopening.
