Red Cross says people displaced by conflict in Colombia doubled last year

Colombia's six-decade-long internal conflict has resulted in an uptick in displacement, disappearances and explosive injuries. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has documented the worst humanitarian consequences in the last decade of the conflict. Civilians are experiencing increasingly serious consequences, with the number of people displaced by conflict doubling in the last year.
