'Reduce use of foreign products': PM Modi's fresh appeal after petrol, gold, WFH push

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged people to reduce dependence on imported foreign goods due to soaring prices and disrupted global supply chains. India spends lakhs of crores of rupees in foreign exchange to import many products from abroad, and the Prime Minister has appealed for small efforts to lead to bigger gains. He emphasized the need to reduce unnecessary dependence on imported goods and use public transport to save diesel and petrol.
