Rhea Chakraborty wins legal relief after court defreezes bank accounts frozen in 2020

A Mumbai special court has ordered the defreezing of bank accounts belonging to Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, and their mother Sandhya Chakraborty. The accounts were frozen in 2020 by the Narcotics Control Bureau during its investigation linked to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The court found that the Narcotics Control Bureau did not follow the mandatory procedure under the NDPS Act, leading to the release of the remaining accounts.
