Riots 2020: High Court dismisses Delhi Police appeal against bail to Ishrat Jahan

The Delhi High Court has refused to interfere with a trial court order granting bail to a former Congress councillor in a case concerning the "larger conspiracy" behind the north-east area riots. A Bench of Justices dismissed an appeal by Delhi Police, stating that relief was granted more than four years ago and there was no allegation of bail conditions being violated.
