Rising heat forces closure of summer classes in Pathanamthitta

A ban has been imposed on summer vacation classes in schools up to the higher secondary level and tuition centres in the district. However, educational institutions are allowed to conduct online classes if required. This decision was made due to the likelihood of a heatwave, with atmospheric temperatures rising significantly above normal levels and high temperatures coupled with humidity posing health risks.
