Rising prices push Germans to cut spending, poll shows

Rising prices in Germany are forcing many people to cut back on spending, with 58% of those polled saying they had recently reduced everyday expenses. People under 30 and lower-income households are most likely to report cutbacks, with 76% dining out less and 65% spending less on fuel. Consumers are also reducing spending on energy, holidays, and leisure activities, with 59% cutting energy use and 55% spending less on leisure.
