Safeguard utilities before commencing roadworks, warns DC; officials to be held accountable if roads dug up after completing work

Mysuru City Corporation officials have been directed to safeguard drinking water supply lines, underground drainage systems, and electricity cables before commencing roadworks in the city. This directive was given following the approval for white-topping works on several roads, with the first phase beginning on Manandavadi Road, Bogadi Road, and Vishwamanava Double Road.
