SC of India flags ‘exploitative’ airfare hikes, seeks relief for flyers

The Supreme Court has urged the Centre to rationalise airfares and provide relief to passengers. It has also stressed the need for transparency, passenger protection, and regulation of dynamic pricing, baggage charges, and grievance mechanisms.
