SC to hear Natarajan’s plea against rejection of Rajya Sabha candidature today

Senior advocate AM Singhvi sought an urgent hearing and stay of results declaration for at least 24 hours to facilitate a court hearing on the returning officer's decision to reject a candidate's candidature. This was opposed by senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi, who said the candidate's only option is to file an election petition after results are declared.
