SC upholds Madras HC order for CBI probe into RS 397 Cr scam

The Supreme Court has refused to interfere with a Madras High Court order directing a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into an alleged Rs 397-crore transformer procurement scam. The court has asked the investigation to proceed independently without influence.
