Seventeen ultra-Orthodox protesters arrested during anti-draft protests in Jerusalem, Tel Hashomer

Protesters attempted to block vehicles by lying in the road and addressing officers with hateful chants outside IDF recruitment offices in Tel Hashomer. At least 15 ultra-Orthodox protesters were arrested during the ongoing draft day. Two additional protesters were arrested in a second demonstration near military recruitment offices in Jerusalem. Protesters also blocked the Light Rail on Jaffa Road, prompting officers to move them off the tracks.
