Shah: Establish Multi-layered security during Amarnath Yatra

Union Home Minister directed security agencies to establish a multi-layered security grid along the Amarnath Yatra route and at major tourist destinations in Jammu and Kashmir. He instructed the use of drones, CCTV monitoring, surveillance systems, and other modern technologies to strengthen traditional security apparatus. The security cover will be put in place through close coordination among the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Central Armed Police Forces, and other security agencies. Adequate arrangements will be ensured for essential services, including pilgrim registration, accommodation, and healthcare facilities.
