Punjab Kings' chase against Sunrisers Hyderabad was derailed by the early dismissal of captain Shreyas Iyer, who was caught by skipper Pat Cummins in the fourth over of the second innings. Iyer's wicket, along with those of Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya, made it difficult for PBKS to recover, as they could only make 202/7 and suffer their third straight defeat. Experienced Indian batters were expected to take the team through on a slow surface, but without Iyer, it became challenging for Punjab Kings.
