Siddaramaiah approved revocation of IPS K Ramachandra Rao’s suspension: Parameshwara

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has approved the revocation of IPS officer K Ramachandra Rao's suspension. The decision was taken by the Chief Minister with the approval of the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms. Rao had submitted an explanation to the Chief Minister and requested a review of the suspension due to his impending retirement. The investigation against him will continue until the case is finalized. Rao has been reinstated with immediate effect and posted as Director General of Police (Police Manual) until further orders.
