Spain, Slovenia, Ireland push EU to debate Israel pact suspension

Spain, Slovenia and Ireland have urged the European Union to debate suspending its association agreement with Israel due to alleged human rights violations in Gaza, the occupied West Bank and Lebanon. The three countries claim Israel has taken measures that contravene human rights and international law, including a proposed law imposing the death penalty on Palestinians.
