Spain Takes Off, Packs Historic Cannes Punch

Spain has the most Cannes Palme d'Or contenders outside of France for the 2025-26 period. Pedro Almodóvar, Rodrigo Sorogoyen, Javier Ambrossi, and Javier Calvo have made the 2026 main competition cut.
