Sri Lanka’s government ‘temporarily’ takes over cricket board

Sri Lanka's government has taken control of the country's cricket board, citing temporary measures for structural reforms. All administrative functions of Sri Lanka Cricket will be brought under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. A committee will be appointed to address current issues and implement reforms, amid allegations of corruption and mismanagement within the board.
