State CMs reduce convoy size following PM Modi’s appeal for saving fuel

State chief ministers have taken steps to reduce fuel consumption following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal. In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed a 50% reduction in the fleet of vehicles for himself and his cabinet, and asked officials to use public transport one day a week. Other states, including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra, have also announced measures to cut down on vehicle usage for official purposes.
