Stellantis CEO says Leapmotor venture a model for future China partnerships

Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa views the company's partnership with China's Leapmotor as a model for future cooperation with other Chinese automakers. The partnership, formed in 2023, involves a joint venture for producing and selling Leapmotor cars outside of China. Stellantis will start assembling Leapmotor's B10 compact SUV in Spain this year and is in talks to develop an Opel-branded electric SUV using Leapmotor's technology.
