Supreme Court to hear Natarajan’s plea against Rajya Sabha nomination rejection today

A Congress leader's plea challenging the rejection of her Rajya Sabha nomination from Madhya Pradesh will be heard by the Supreme Court on Friday. The plea was mentioned before a bench of Justices P K Mishra and A S Chandurkar, who said it will be listed on Friday, subject to curing of defects. The leader's candidature was rejected during scrutiny of nominations by the Returning Officer on June 9, citing a pending case against her.
