Suspected West Nile fever cases trigger health warning

Health authorities in Ernakulam have sounded a caution following suspected cases of West Nile fever reported from various areas, including Elanji, Eroor, Pallikkara, Ponekkara, and Palluruthy. The authorities advise keeping canals clean and preventing mosquito breeding inside homes and surrounding areas to prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases. Suspected cases are being tested, and results are expected in 14 days.
