Talks ended without deal due to ‘excessive demands’ made by US: Iran

Iran-US talks in Islamabad have ended without a deal due to "excessive demands" made by the American side. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said Iran is determined to utilise all tools to secure national interests and protect the country's well-being. The two sides reached a consensus on some issues but held different views on key matters, including the nuclear issue and lifting of sanctions.
