Tamil Nadu CM Vijay keeps home, police and women welfare portfolios in first TVK government

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has retained control over several key departments including home, police, women welfare, and municipal administration in the first Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) government. He has also been allocated public, general administration, special programme implementation, and water supply portfolios. The Governor has approved the allocation of portfolios to the nine ministers, including Vijay, who were sworn in last week.
