Tamil Nadu election 2026: A two-cornered contest in the AIADMK stronghold Pappireddipatti constituency

Pappireddipatti constituency was created in 2011 after delimitation of Dharmapuri, replacing Morappur constituency. Since its creation, the constituency has seen four elections, including a bye-election following the disqualification of the then sitting MLA. The people of the constituency have consistently voted for the AIADMK. A two-cornered contest is expected between the DMK and the AIADMK in the constituency.
