The Global Sumud Flotilla is sailing on, here is why

A fleet of sailing boats carrying humanitarian aid is sailing towards the Turkish port of Marmaris, despite being violently intercepted in international waters by a foreign power earlier. At least 30 people were injured and four reported incidents of sexual assault. The boats are sailing in defiance of Israel's actions and in solidarity with the Palestinian people, aiming to further delegitimise Israel's genocidal and warmongering tactics. The fleet's previous mission contributed to a ceasefire announcement, but the Israeli army continued to massacre Palestinians and deny them humanitarian aid.
