Three dead in Australia during marine rescue attempt

Three people have died after a vessel capsized while responding to a distress call off the east coast of Australia in New South Wales. The incident occurred when a Marine Rescue NSW vessel with six crew on board was attempting to help a struggling yacht at a break wall in Ballina. Two of the deceased were from the Marine Rescue service, aged 78 and 62, while a third person, believed to be in his 50s, was also killed
