TMC moves SC to scrap EC order excluding State staff from vote counting supervisor duty

The high court dismissed a petition stating it is the prerogative of the Election Commission of India to appoint counting supervisors and assistants from either the state or central government. The court found no illegality in appointing them from the central government or a central PSU employee.
