TN Minister Keerthana misses taking oath as she could not present certificate of election

Tamil Nadu Minister S Keerthana failed to take oath of office as MLA in the State Assembly due to her inability to present her Certificate of Election. MLAs were required to bring their certificates without fail, as stated in a press note. When invited to take oath, Keerthana was asked to produce her certificate, but she could not do so. She may take oath at a later time once she submits her certificate.
